The things you want to know.

With the required permissions enabled, Klicksy detects drives in the background and records their routes and distances. Open the app when you have a moment to check the details and confirm what each trip was for.

Your trip history, routes and saved destinations stay on your device. Klicksy does not upload them to its own servers, and we cannot access them. Apple Maps may process map searches and route requests, and any backup or report you share goes to the destination you choose.

Record up to 50 automatic trips each calendar month, add trips manually, use one active vehicle, save frequent destinations, and export monthly CSV and PDF reports. Klicksy Pro adds unlimited automatic trips, multiple active vehicles, custom report dates, selectable report columns and automatic approval of matching trip purposes.

It helps you keep and export a driving history. You still need to review trip purposes, record actual odometer readings and keep expense receipts. Klicksy is not endorsed by the CRA and does not determine which expenses you can claim.

Yes. Keep both in your history and assign a purpose to each trip. This gives you a fuller picture of vehicle use, while reports let you focus on business driving when needed.

The first release is for iPhone. Android is a possible future release, but there is no confirmed launch date. We will update this website when there is news.

Location lets Klicksy work out where a drive starts and ends and how far you travel. Background access lets it do that while the app is closed. Precise Location helps record the route accurately; Motion & Fitness helps distinguish driving from walking or cycling.

Open Settings, choose Vehicles and tap the plus button. Your first active vehicle is included for free; additional active vehicles require Klicksy Pro. Give each vehicle its own details and check which vehicle is assigned to each trip.

Yes. Go to Settings → Frequent destinations → Add Destination. Name the place, choose its location, and optionally set a default purpose or vehicle. Klicksy can then suggest those details for matching drives.

Yes. You can review and edit trip details, change the purpose or vehicle, and add a trip manually. Automatic tracking depends on your permissions, device settings and available storage, so it is worth checking your log regularly.

In Reports, select a month and review any outstanding trips, then choose Export CSV or Export PDF. Save the file or share it yourself. Pro also lets you choose custom dates and report columns.

No. There is no Klicksy account to create. Trips are saved on your device. Pro purchases and subscription management use your Apple Account.

Background location can use battery. The amount varies with your device, driving time and settings. Motion detection helps Klicksy recognise drives; we do not promise a fixed battery usage figure.

Choose one, two or three years in Settings. The default is two years, and older trips and routes are removed automatically. Save reports and backups before they expire if you need records for longer.

Deleting Klicksy removes its local data. Create a full backup and save it outside the app before deleting it or moving to another device. After reinstalling, use Restore Backup to import the file. We cannot recover your trip history from a Klicksy server.

No. The prescribed per-kilometre rates concern employee vehicle allowances. Self-employed vehicle expense claims generally use the eligible business share of actual vehicle costs. An allowance estimate in the app is not your calculated tax saving.
