Allow background and precise location for route recording, and Motion & Fitness to help recognise driving. Once automatic tracking is enabled, you do not need to press start for each drive. If a trip is missing, you can add it manually.
Make the record useful while you remember the day.
Review the trip’s purpose, destination and vehicle. Add a note for the client, job or errand. Business and Personal are the starting purposes; you can create your own in Settings → Manage purposes.

Let familiar places do some of the sorting.
Frequent destinations can label the start or end of a trip and suggest a purpose or vehicle. Business hours and reviewed trips can also help with classification. You can change any suggestion, so a personal errand does not have to become a work trip just because it happened during the day.
Use more than one vehicle? Keep them organised.
Your first active vehicle is included. With Pro, add more and keep each vehicle’s trips and odometer readings together. Set a primary vehicle for new odometer entries, and check assignments when you change vehicles.
Finish with a file you can use.
Reports show your monthly mileage and trips needing review. Export CSV for a spreadsheet or PDF for a readable summary. Both monthly formats are included for free; Pro adds custom dates and selectable columns.
Keep control of your records.
Your history stays on your device. Klicksy does not upload it to its own servers. Save a full backup outside the app before changing phones or deleting it, and keep exported records before the selected storage period expires.

Will location tracking use my battery?
Background location can use battery. The amount varies with your device, driving time and settings. Motion detection helps Klicksy recognise drives; we do not promise a fixed battery usage figure.
